Follow in the steps of Moses and Joshua, as they led the children of Israel out of Egypt and into the Promised Land. See the great sites in Egypt, including the Pyramids at Giza, the great River Nile, and the Land of Goshen where the Israelites made bricks as slaves before Moses led them to freedom. Spend a night near St. Catherine’s Monastery at Mt. Sinai and climb the mountain if you wish. Then, in the country of Jordan, see the Rose Red City of Petra, the fortress of Machaerus where John the Baptist was beheaded, and on Mt. Nebo, to savor Moses’ view of the Promised Land. Next, cross the Jordan River into Israel and see great Old Testament sites, including Jericho, Dan and Megiddo. Walk in the steps of Jesus at Nazareth, Capernaum and Cana and sail on the Sea of Galilee. See the great sights in Jerusalem and take day trips to Bethlehem, Bethany, Masada, Qumran, the Dead Sea and much more.
